Bokamoso Tshekiso

Bokamoso is the Field Based Finance and Human Resources Manager for the team in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Area of Botswana. Originally from a small village in northeastern Botswana, she joined the organisation in 2019 as a personal assistant and has grown steadily into a senior leadership role spanning financial oversight, people management and community engagement. Now in her seventh year, she works closely with local communities to make sure programmes are inclusive, well run and genuinely improving lives.

Bokamoso is deeply involved in initiatives that respond to gender-based violence and advance women’s empowerment. Her ability to listen and build trust has made her a respected presence in the villages she serves. Her journey from a junior role to senior leadership shows what long-term investment in local leadership can achieve, and she is driven by a vision of women who are safer, more confident and more involved in the decisions that shape their communities.
